Lines of concern etched in the wizened visage of the crone. Beholding the plight of a tortured creation. Shuddering at the “demise” of her beloved Lady while clutching her demonic familiar. Hatred’s blaze behind those eyes, seeking fruitlessly to scorch the robes of the Ancient of Days. Oh that she would know the truth. God made man walked the earth He created only to be scorned, despised and crucified. Wary of the most important life: that beyond the cursed grave. Owns creation, loves what He created, died for him made but a step lower than angels. Heaven and earth will be destroyed by fire. The crone need not weep. Fires extinguished, she gazes longingly skyward with the hopeful remnant.
